Kathmandu: The main opposition party CPN (UML) has obstructed the Parliament meeting, demanding action to be taken against Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Prakash Jwala.
CPN (UML) MPs stood up and demonstrated in the ongoing meeting, where Rastriya Swatantra Party also agreed with the CPN(UML) and demonstrated by standing up.
Earlier, CPN(UML) MP Raghuji Panta while addressing said that Minister Jwala should resign after the question was raised against him.
Panta said,’ Minister must resign after the question has been raised against him. Gokul Baskota resigned after his tape recording audio was made public. Minister Jwala is still walking and waving the flag, despite the investigation carried out by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authory (CIAA). He is still Minister though CIAA found him the culprit. He must resign from an ethical perspective.’
Likewise, Panta drew the attention of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ about the report of the investigation commission that found weaknesses in Minister Jwala regarding the Balkumari incident.
