Celebration of 74th Democracy Day in Tundikhel (Photo Feature)
Kathmandu: 74th Democracy Day has been celebrated by organizing a special event in Tundikhel.
Democracy Day is celebrated to mark the end of 104 years of autocratic rule of Ranas.
President, Prime Minister, Judges, Speakers, Ministers, Chiefs of Army and Police including senior officials participated in the program.
Likewise, the army showered flowers from helicopters bearing the banner of ‘ National Democracy Day, 2080’, while, the messenger of peace pigeons and colorful balloons were flown away.
Different cultural rallies were also displayed in the program.
