CPN(UML) and RSP demand resignation of Minister Jwala

Kathmandu: The main opposition party CPN(UML) and Rastriya Swatantra Party( RSP)  have demanded the resignation of the Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Prakash Jwala.

CPN (UML) and RSP said that no action was taken even after the submission of the Balkumari investigation report. CPN (UML) whip Mahesh Bataula while speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives (HOR) on Sunday, demanded the resignation of Minister Jwala.

Police began firing to control the situation of the centric protest in Balkumari.  2 EPS students died, after the firing, on 29 December( Poush 13).

Similarly, RSP Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane also demanded the resignation of Minister Jwala. Both MP’s of CPN (UML) and RSP started to demonstrate from their seats, as soon as  Speaker Devraj informed about the start of the meeting.
