CM Yadav attains vote of confidence

Kathmandu: Madhesh Province Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav has attained a vote of confidence.

CM Yadav attained a vote of confidence on Sunday. During the vote of confidence attaining ceremony, CM Yadav received 69 votes in his favor and 35 votes against him. 104 members of parliaments were present in the province assembly meeting.

CPN(UML) and Janamat Party didn’t vote for CM Yadav. He became the Chief Minister of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), which is also part of the central coalition.

Dr. Chandrakanta Raut-led Janamat party withdrew its support from the government which resulted in CM Yadav seeking a vote of confidence for the third time.
