Kathmandu: Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav C’ has said the ongoing system is not successful in Nepal.
Addressing the 23rd National Conference of the All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) on Sunday, Biplav commented upon the failure of the system. ‘We said this system would not be successful 18 years ago. Look, it became unsuccessful, isn’t it amazing? ‘ he said.
He said that the special discussion of the system being a failure was going from London to Beijing. ‘From London, Delhi, to Beijing, even in Nepal from tea shops to 5-stars, the discussion of the system being a failure is going on, ‘ he said.
Biplav said that the nation would remain as it is unless the reformation of the top structure. The public needs economic and educational transformation rather than politics.
Likewise, he said that the imperialists created a design not to make students stay in Nepal. ‘The commentary has been developed for not allowing students to stay in Nepal. The number of students in the colleges is decreasing. There is no motivation for Nepali youths. We can hear “There is nothing, nothing will happen.” This is the work of imperialists,’ said Biplav.
Biplav pointed out that those were the challenges of the student unions. ‘There are 90 lakh students in Nepal. They have their unions. These student unions must fight against these circumstances. It does not matter which student is part of which union,’ said Biplav.
