Kathmandu: A scuffle has occurred between two communities during the Shree Mahavir Jhanda Kalash Yatra in Samasi Rura-municipality-2, Mahottari.
Three people have been injured in the scuffle. According to police, Asmita Khatun, Gulshan Khatun, and Israel Nadaf were injured in the incident.
The Kalash Yatra began in Samshi Rural Municipality-1. The scuffle occurred when the Kalash Yatra reached Nuri Mosque in Ward No. 2.

Police fired 4 rounds of aerial shots to control the situation. District Police Range Mahottari said that they fired to control the situation.
The Muslim community claimed that stones were charged in the mosque during the Kalash Yatra of the Hindu community. The organizers claimed that stones were not charged on the mosque during the Kalash Yatra.
Security persons have been deployed in the area. The situation is currently under control.
