UAE enters ACC Women’s Premier Cup final

Kathmandu:  UAE has entered into the final of the ACC Women’s Premier Cup. UAE defeated Thailand by 4 runs to enter the final.

Thailand batters failed to chase the target of 71 runs against the UAE. UAE packed up Thailand in 19.2 overs. Thailand was only able to score 66 runs in 19 overs. Thipatcha Putthawong contributed 21 runs for Thailand.

In the first innings, UAE won the toss and chose to bat first. The team was packed up in 20 overs and scored 70 runs with the loss of 7 wickets. Kavisha scored 21 runs for UAE, which was the highest run for the team. Thipatcha Putthawong and Aphisara Suwanchonrathi took 2-2 wickets for Thailand.

Heena H Hotchandani took 4 wickets and Vaishnave Mahesh took 3 wickets for UAE.  Now, UAE will play against the winner of the match between Nepal and Malaysia in the final.
