Nepal gives target of 133 runs to Namibia

Kathmandu: The national cricket team of Nepal has given a target of 133 runs to Namibia in ICC World Cup League 2.

Namibia won the toss and chose to field first in the ongoing match at T.U. International Cricket Stadium. Nepal was packed up in 41.1 overs and scored 132 runs.

Nepali batters failed to make runs against the Namibia bowling side. The batting of Nepal wobbled after losing 4 wickets in 9.3 overs. Bhim Sharki and Pawan Sarraf did a partnership of 46 runs for 5th wicket of Nepal.

Bhim Sharki scored 44 runs and Gulsan Jha scored 21 runs for the team. Karan KC scored 16, Kushal Malla scored 15, and Pawan Sarraf 12 runs for the team. Other batsman failed to score decent runs for the team.

Anil Shah scored 8, Asif Sheikh scored 4, Sompal Kami 2, and Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel 1 for the team. Kushal Bhurtel was dug out. Lalit Rajbanshi was not out at zero.

Gerhard Erasmus took 5 wickets for Namibia. Ruben Trumpelmann and Jack Brassell took 2 wickets each for the team.
