Kathmandu: The drama ‘The  Departure’ has been staged in Sarwanam Theatre, Kalisthan.

The play reflects the state of mind and situation of the couples and family, who are completely drenched in love and surrender. It also touches on the sacrifice that one has to and for the happiness of the close ones.

‘The Departure’ tells a story about how circumstances compel people to go abroad, leaving their love and family. The story brilliantly portrays the pain of the members of a family, who spend their time hoping for the return of their closed ones.

Naren Bhattarai is the writer and Krishna Khadka is the director of the drama. Likewise, the acting of Naren Bhattarai, Shova Karki, Mukesh Hamal, Dhiraj Thapa Magar, Svasthani Raut, Suraj Parajuli, and Vidhayak Tilak have added soul to the characters of the play.

The staging of the drama ‘The Departure’ began on 10 February( Magh 27) and will conclude on 17 February( Falgun 5). The regular show of the stage has been scheduled for 5:00 p.m. An additional show has been scheduled on Saturday for 1 p.m.
