Poor to receive identity card

Chitwan: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation, Ranjita Shrestha Chaudhari, has said the government was identifying poor people and distributing identity cards to them
. Talking to media persons on Saturday, Minister Chaudhari informed that the poor are categorized with identification and identity cards provided accordingly. ‘Present distribution of identity cards to poor will be made more effective,’ she said, asserting that the government was working actively to alleviate poverty.
She further shared that the land commission was also working to distribute lands to the landless squatters.
