Nepal projects target of 225 runs to Canada

Kathmandu: Nepal has projected a target of 225 runs to Canada in the ongoing match of the bilateral series.

Nepal won the toss and chose to bat first at TU International Cricket Stadium. Nepal lost all the wickets and scored 224 runs in 50 overs.

Kushal Bhurtel scored a half-century for Nepal. He scored 62 runs out of 58 balls by hitting 9 fours and 1 six. Aarif Sheikh contributed 38 and Sompal Kami 27 runs for the team.

Kushal Malla scored 20, Bhim Sharki 17 and Pawan Saraf 15 runs for Nepal. Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel and Aasif Sheikh scored 8 runs each for the team. Rijan Dhakal scored 4 runs. Lalit was out in 1 run. Surya Tamang was unbeaten at 10 runs.

Udaya Bhagwan took 3 wickets for Canada.
