Bam Dev Gautam: When will I get salvation from this insulting designation?

Kathmandu: Bam Dev Gautam has called the post of the member of the National Assembly insulting.

Gautam, while participating in the National Assembly meeting on Wednesday, termed the designation as insulting. ‘I feel when I get salvation from this insulting designation,’ said Gautam.

He said that so far Prime Ministers were not able to present a structure of building socialism through a system of multi-party competition.

‘The work of the Constitution is to construct a prosperous socialism based on democratic values and recognition. It is the work of the Nepali public. It is the work of those who passed the Constitution. The lawmakers already had imagined what kind of society must be constructed with the help of multi-party competition.’

The President, after the recommendation of the government, nominated Gautam as the National Assembly member. He was nominated as a National Assembly member on 17^th September 2020(1^st Asoj 2077).
