Closed session of Dhading’s CPN(UML) Convention to begin on 13 February

Kathmandu: The closed session of the CPN(UML), Dhading Convention has been rescheduled to begin on 13 February (Falgun 1).

Convention Chairperson Committee Chairperson Dharmadatta Devkota issued a notice, on Tuesday, mentioning the disrupted convention to be held on 13 February( Falgun 1) at 11:00 a.m.

The CPN(UML) Convention was stopped due to a dispute during the nomination of representatives. There was a dispute in a meeting of the District Committee at around 7:00 p.m., before the start of a closed session of the convention on 2 February( Magh 19). This resulted in a fight between District Committee Members and Leaders.

Likewise, Leader Santosh Khanal broke his arm during the fight. After that incident, CPN(UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli called party leaders of Dhading to Kathmandu, to discuss the matter.
