U-19 World Cup: Nepal sets target of 170 runs to Bangladesh

Kathmandu:  Nepal has given a target of 170 runs to Bangladesh in the ICC U-19 World Cup.

Nepal won the toss and chose to bat first in Bloemfontein, South Africa. Bangladesh packed Nepal in 49. 5overs. Nepal scored 169 runs in the first match of the Super 6.

The performance of Nepali batsmen was not up to the mark against Bangladesh. Only Bishal Bikram KC and Captain Dev Khanal scored good runs for Nepal. KC contributed 48 and Khanal 35 runs. Other batsmen failed to contribute decent scores for the team.

Similarly, Bangladesh bowlers Rohanat Doullah Borson and Sheikh Paevez Jibon succeeded in taking 3 wickets each for Bangladesh.
