Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that preparations are in foot to revive industries that have remained closed for long. PM Dahal said those statements while addressing the 20th Establishment Day and National Council Meeting of Press Centre Nepal in Parsa of Birgunj today.
The Prime Minister said that preparations are going on to revive key industrial entities such as the Biratnagar Jute Mill, Hetauda Textile Factory, Gorakhkali Rubber Industry, and Butwal Spinning Mills Ltd. ‘It has been decided to operate such industries under the private-public partnership model,’ said PM Dahal.
He even expressed the government’s commitment to budget formulation through collaborative efforts of political parties, with upcoming policies and programs designed to prioritize the citizens’ interests, promoting socialism and social justice. Significant changes are expected through the upcoming budget, policies, and programs, and submissions from local and provincial governments will be sought during the formulation procedures.
According to the Prime Minister, the government has strongly acted against the land mafia and usury practices, the decision to include labor force from informal, self-employment, and foreign employment to the Social Security Fund which is taken as a significant achievement of the incumbent government.
