Kathmandu: The Mahaguru Bhumchhok and Pranidhan Monlam Worship have been concluded in the birthplace of Buddha, Lumbini. The worship was held in front of the Mayadevi Temple and featured the recitation of 100,000 incantations for world peace.
Vice-chair of the Lumbini Development Trust (LDT) Dr Lharkyal Lama (Khenpo Chhime) said that worship was solemnized wishing for the wellbeing of nature and living beings. He even said that Bhumchhok and Monlam rituals were conducted in the presence of Rinpoche, Lama priests, bhikkhus, and anis (Buddhist monks and nuns) to promote religious activities in Lumbini.
Collaboration with first Khando Chhiring Rimpochhe, LDT Vice-chair, Chhyogni Rinpoche, Tungo Karma Sangmbo Rinpoche participated in the Monlam worship organized by Mahaguru World Peace.
