U-19 World Cup: Afghanistan gives target of 146 runs to Nepal

Kathmandu: Afghanistan has given a target of 146 runs to Nepal in the ICC U-19 World Cup.

Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bat first in Buffalo Parki, South Africa. Nepal succeeded in packing Afghanistan in 40.1 overs. Afghanistan scored 145 runs.

Afghanistan batsman AM Ghazanfar contributed 37 runs. Captian Naseer Khan Maroofkhil contributed 31 runs,  Faridoon Dawoodzai 29, and Hassan Eisakhil 20 runs for the team. However,  Numan Shah, Khalid Taniwal, Ali Ahmad, and Arab Gul were ducked out.

Nepali bowlers succeeded in showing their caliber in the game. Akash Chand succeeded in taking 5 wickets for the team. Dipesh Kandel took  2, Gulshan Jha and Tilak Bhandari took 1-1 wicket each.
