Bamjan Case: Child abuse complainant dies in accident

Kathmandu: A complainant, who filed a case of child abuse against Ram Bahadur Bamjan, has died in an accident.

The complainant, who is the father of a girl, died after his motorcycle collided with a tractor on Tuesday. According to Sindhuli District Police, the victim girl’s father was on the motorbike (no Ba 58 Pa 9141) as a pillion ride. The bike was heading towards Dagah of Sindhuli from Rautahat.

The bike and the tractor (Pra 2-04-001 Ta 0010) collided in Bhiman as per the police. Sindhuli Police SP Rajkumar Siwal said that the victim was seriously injured in the accident and died during treatment in Sindhuli District Hospital. Whereas, the bike rider sustained minor injuries and was discharged after treatment.

Likewise, relatives of the deceased have accused the death as a conspiracy. A few days earlier he had given an interview about Bamjan’s sexual abuse. Police have arrested tractor driver Pushpa Lal Adhikari and further investigation is going on.
