PM Cup: Gandaki registers its second win, Karan’s 79 runs

Kathmandu: Gandaki Province has registered its second win in the PM Cup National Cricket Tournament.

Gandaki defeated Bagmati by 3 wickets in the T.U. International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Gandaki chased the target of 199 runs in 49.3 overs with a loss of 7 wickets.

Karan Pangeni scored 79 runs in 98 balls by hitting 6 boundaries and 3 sixes. Ishwar Chhetri contributed 36 and Muskan Thapa 27 runs for the team. Pratis G.C. took 2 wickets for Bagmati. Rijan Dhakal, Surya Tamang, and Bipin Acharya took 1 wicket each.

In the first innings, Bagmati was packed up in 49.1 runs and scored 198 runs. Ashutosh Ghiraiya scored 44 and Ishan Pandey scored 43 runs for the team. Kamal Pariyar took 4 wickets for Bagmati. Bipin Khatri and Sandeep Parajuli took 2 wickets each for the team.

Likewise, Karnali won the match against the Koshi Province by 6 wickets in Mulpani Cricket Stadium. Tribhuvan Army Club defeated APF Club by 4 wickets in Siddharthanagar Cricket Stadium.
