Police arrest NSU members for protesting in prohibited area Maitighar (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: Police have arrested the members of the Nepal Student Union (NSU), a close wing of the Nepali Congress Party, and supporting students to NSU for demonstrating with the demand to lift the prohibition order issued in Maitighar.

NSU demonstrated with demand to lift the prohibition order on Sunday. Police arrested more than a dozen demonstrators and kept them in Police Station, Singhadurbar.

Government had prohibited Matighar on 20 November, 2023( Mangisr 4, 2080).
