Biratnagar High Court issues interim order to Mayor Sampang

Kathmandu: Biratnagar High Court has issued an interim order to Dharan’s Mayor Harka Sampang Rai to open the padlocked BP Koirala Institute of Health Science, Vice Chancellor Office.

The court ordered Mayor Sampang to open the padlocked office of Vice Chancellor Prahlad Karki. A single bench judge Sridhara Kumari Pudasaini issued an order to open the padlocked Vice Chancellor’s Office.

Sanjeev Kumar Shah had filed an appeal against the padlock. During the hearing, the court issued an order to unlock the office, mentioning that sensitive areas like the health sector must be free from closure, strike, or lockout.

Along with an interim order court issued to show reason to the opponents.
