Surya Tamang takes 6 wickets for victory of Bagmati against Madhesh

Kathmandu: Bagmati Province has defeated the Madhesh Province in the PM Cup National Cricket Tournament.

Bagmati defeated Madhesh by 86 runs at Mulpani Cricket Ground on Tuesday. Surya Tamang took 6 wickets to register the first victory for Bagmati in the tournament.

Madhesh failed to chase the target of 191 runs. Team Madhesh was packed up in 29 overs and scored only 104 runs. Pawan Saraf scored 45 and Mayan Yadav 31 runs for Madhesh.

Surya even completed his hattrick wicket while taking 6 wickets. He gave only 18 runs during that course. Surya completed his hat trick in the first three balls of 28 overs. Pratis G.C. and Ishan Pandey took 2 wickets each.

In the first innings, Bagmati was packed up in 49.2 overs and scored 190 runs. Pratis scored 59 runs for Bagmati. Arniko Yadav and Rupesh Singh took 2 wickets each for Madhesh.

Similarly, the Nepal Police Club defeated Koshi Province by 7 wickets in T.U. International Cricket Stadium. Sudurpaschim Province won the match against Karnali Province by 134 runs at Siddharthanagar Cricket Ground in Bhairahawa.
