People have been organizing special programs in various parts of the nation to celebrate the festival. The celebration is also going on in Kathmandu.
People from the Tharu and Magar communities gathered together in Tundikhel to celebrate Maghe Sankranti. There is also an exciting participation of youths in the celebration. Youths could be seen dressed up in their cultural attire.
Both of the communities gave their cultural glimpses in separate places.
