Police confiscate more than 30 million rupees from Bamjan’s residence

Police confiscate more than 30 million rupees from Bamjan’s residence

Kathmandu: More than 30 million (3 crores) rupees have been confiscated from so-called “ascetic” Ram Bahadur Bamjan’s residence. Police arrested Bamjan in charge of murder, kidnap and rape.

Police said that they have confiscated more than 30 million Nepali rupees including foreign currency from Bamjan’s residence at Buddhanilkantha.

According to the Centre Investigation Bureau(CIB),  30 million( 3 crores) 3 Lakh, and 75 Thousand rupees were confiscated including foreign currency while searching the house. The notes are of 500 and 1000 rupees. Likewise, 15 mobiles, Laptops, and some pen drives have been seized.

Police also seized 300 dollars from his residence. There were also the foreign currencies of Taiwan and Indonesia.

Police arrested Bamjan on Tuesday night. Police have prepared to extend the dates for the investigation of Bamjan from the court today. Similarly, the Police searched Bamjan after 4 years. Bamjan was staying in ashrams of various forests in different districts.
