Police arrest manpower owner for scamming more than 1.9 million rupees

Kathmandu: Police have arrested a manpower owner for scamming more than Rs. 1.9 million.
Police arrested Jayram Poudel (41 years old) from Panauti municipality-1, Kavrepalanchowk.
According to Kathmandu Crime Investigation Office, Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Rabindra Regmi Paudel had scammed Rs. 1.96 million from 2 victims. Out of which Padam Kumari Shrestha was one of the victims.
Shrestha was time and again allured to provide a job at a renowned company and would get paid Rs. 300,000 salary per month in Europe. Paudel used to run Mars Manpower Services Pvt. Ltd.
Paudel has been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment, Tahachal for further investigation and action.
