Kathmandu: Police have arrested 7 people including husband Santosh Thapa, who had tied up his wife in an electric pole and beat her up for 3 days.

Police arrested husband Santosh Thapa, who tied his wife Sharadha Thapa of Sindhuli Metropolitan City – 4 to an electric pole, and beat her inhumanly.

According to police, Thapa physically abused his wife in a dispute of transaction. Police rescued victim Shardha after reaching the spot at around 4:30 pm on Sunday.

Sharadha’s body is full of bruises. Sharadha has been living with her son in Kathmandu. She was preparing to divorce her husband Santosh.
