Sindhuli accident: Locals obstruct BP Highway, set bus on fire

Kathmandu: Locals have demonstrated against the death of 2 people when a bus and a motorbike collided in Sindhuli.

After the accident, the locals obstructed BP Highway and burned down the bus that had hit to motorbike. The bus and motorbike collided with each other at Sindhuli’s Sunkoshi Rural Municipality -3 Bohoretar of BP Highway on Monday morning.

Bus no 01-006 Kha 4593 and motorbike no Ba 60 Pa3545 heading from opposite directions collided with each other, which resulted in the death of 2 people.

According to the Spokesperson of District Police Sindhuli, Chiranjeevi Dahal, the Deceased was motorist Rupesh Adhikari( 24 years old) from Ramechhap’s Manthali Rural Municipality -13 and Munakal Rai(18) from Khotang’s Diktel Rural Municipality -10.
