KMC warns to take action against schools for making ‘Christmas Dress’ mandatory

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has warned schools not to force students to buy different clothes in the name of festivals.

KMC appealed with a notice after schools were found publishing notices to mandatory to wear special dresses for Christmas. KMC took the step after parents started complaining regarding the notices of the schools mentioning costumes including white beards and red woolen caps compulsory for students.

KMC appealed after private schools forced students to wear a ‘Christmas Dress’ at Christmas. Similarly, KMC has warned to take action against those schools that go against the circular.
