Kathmandu: The staging of the drama “Naso” has begun in the Kunja Natak Ghar of Arohan Gurukul.

“Naso” is based on the story of Guru Prasad Mainali. The drama is one of the eleven stories from Mainali’s popular story collection “Naso.”

The drama has been produced supporting the ‘Stage for Education’ campaign. The Sadbhav Theater Nepal had initiated the campaign.

Nubu Sherpa, Kreesha Baruwal, Saugat Kashpati, Saina Syangtang, Yukti Thapamgar, Sujal Kafle, Suyog Bhandari, Osing Alemgar, Nikesh Lama, Sajna Majhi, Sejal Kafle are actors of the play. Ram K.A.C. adapted and directed the play. Kiran Chapagain is the co-director of the drama.

Similarly, Naso is a sarcastic drama that satires polygamy and contemporary issues, along with its psychological effect on children of Nepali society. The drama has been prepared in collaboration with Columbus International School, Maligaon. Columbus students have acted in Naso

The staging of the drama will continue for 4 days. The staging of Naso began on 2oth December( Poush 4). It will conclude on 23rd December(Poush 7). The drama will be staged for four days. There are two shows of Naso every day (at 11 am and 2 pm).
