TU makes new World Record in 49th Convocation Ceremony (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The Tribhuvan University (TU) has created a world record with the participation of the highest number of students in the convocation ceremony.

The Official World Record (O.W.R.) certified TU in the category ‘Largest convocation in terms of graduating students and physical presence.’ The certificate mentions the physical presence of more than 26000 people in the ceremony, including parents, awardees, students, and guests.

TU organized the 49^th Convocation Ceremony in the Dashrath Rangasala on Monday. 12 thousand 4 hundred 15 students attended the ceremony. TU Chancellor Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and President Ram Chandra Paudel addressed the ceremony.
