Socialist Front objects arrest warrant against Nepal Communist Party GS 'Biplav'

Kathmandu: The Socialist Front (Samajbadhi Morcha) has shown objection regarding an arrest warrant issued against Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ including his party leaders.

The Front objected to the arrest warrant issued by the Kathmandu District Court after two weeks.

The statement in the press release says,’ We call upon the government and related parties to fully implement the three-point agreement between the government and the Nepal Communist Party to prevent such conflict arising in the current political situation of the country.’

District Court issued an arrest warrant against ‘Biplav’ and his party leaders on 5th October (Ashoj 18). CPN(Maoists Centre) is leading the government, which is also one of the members of the Front.
