Nepal sets target of 153 runs to Pakistan

Kathmandu: Nepal has set a target of 153 runs to Pakistan in the ICC U-19 Asia Cup.

Nepal opted to bat first, while Pakistan chose to bowl after winning the toss at ICC Academy Ground, Dubai. Nepal was all out in 47.2 runs with 152 runs on the board.

Uttam Magar scored a half-century for a decent score. He scored 51 runs out of the 76 balls. During this, he smashed 2 sixes and 3 boundaries.

The batting lineup of Nepal came under pressure after losing 5 wickets at the end of 16 overs. Uttam and Dipesh Kandel completed a partnership of 68 runs out of 100 balls for Nepal.

Dipesh contributed 31, Arjun Kumal 21, Subash Bhandari was(8 unbeaten ),5 players failed to score double digit runs. Captain Dev Khanal and Bipin Rawal failed to add even a single score.

Mohammad Zeeshan took 6 wickets, Amir Hassan 2, Ubaid Shah and Arafat Minhas 1-1 wickets for Pakistan.
