Kathmandu: Police have restricted former combatant and injured civil soldiers from entering the Singha Durbar.
Police had tightened the security system at the south gate of Singha Durbar as there was a rumor of Manju Dhamala attempting self-immolation. Dhamala was injured during the Maoist insurgency.
Likewise, police restricted people including Dhamala, Resham Ghimire, and others from entering Singha Durbar despite having an entry pass. Even police have increased vigilance upon the people who are entering Singha Durbar with a pass.
They became furious as their state was ignored even after the civil war Supreme Commander Puspa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ being the Prime Minister of Nepal.
They warned of self-immolation in case of improper management of the injured soldiers of the civil war.
