Kathmandu: Nepal Communist Party Secretary General Netra Bikram Chand “Biplav” has protested against an arrest warrant for him and his party leaders.
Biplav commented that the arrest warrant was a subversive attack over the serious initiative going on to resolve the country’s problem peacefully.
As per the notice issued by Biplav on Tuesday mentions, ‘It is not just direct violation regarding completion of 3 point agreement on 5 March, 2021 (Falgun 21, 2077) by the court action. Rather it is a subversive attack upon a serious initiative when the attempts were going on to resolve the problem of the country in a peaceful manner.’
He said that the judge in the court exhibited illegal power. ‘The party censures such illegal, rude and disorderly act. We request to to stop such divisive actions, ‘ mentions the notice.
Kathmandu District Court issued a 35-days arrest warrant against Chand ,his party valley special bureau in charge Maila Lama’Prajwal’, Polit bureau member Khadka Bahadur Bishwakarma “Prakanda” and All Nepal Peasants’ Federation Revolutionary Chairperson Raju Karki in cases of involving offense against the State on Monday.
NCP announced a series of protest to be conducted against the arrest warrant.
