Jhapa: A son has murdered his father in Kamal Rural Municipality, Jhapa.

According to Superintendent Police Khagendra Rijal, Ashish Tamang killed his father Bhola Kumar Tamang(50 years) using a knife (known as Dau in Nepali ). Ashish killed his father by striking his head on Tuesday morning around 6:30 am.

Police said that Ashish had hit his father on the head and his right leg with a stake and colander. His father died on the spot. Ashish ran away from the crime scene after the murder. Police arrested Ashish, when he was hiding in a milk dairy in Kamala-4.

A police team from Damak has been assigned to the case for further investigation.
