Agency: Hamas has released 13 Israeli and 4 Thai nationals. According to BBC, Hamas handed hostages to the Red Cross.
Hamas released 17 hostages including Israelis and Thai a bit later than in agreement between Hamas and Israel last night. Earlier Hamas accused Israel of not releasing its prisoners and arriving of aid in Gaza as per the agreement.
13 Israelis, 39 Palestinians, 10 Thai, and 1 Philippines were released on the first day of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas on Friday. Thai and the Philippines were released in a separate diplomatic initiative of Qatar. Qatar played the role of the meditator in 4 days of a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
Hamas during the ceasefire period would release at least 50 hostages and Israel would be releasing prisoners at the rate of the 3 people equal to one hostage. It is estimated that 195 citizens are still under Hamas and Israel needs to release 150 Palestinians within 4 days of the ceasefire.
Today is 3rd day of the ceasefire, and only 1 day left to end the ceasefire.
