Hamas and Israel agree upon temporary ceasefire for 4 days

Kathmandu: Hamas and Israel have agreed to cease the ongoing war for 4 days.

Both of them agreed to temporarily halt the war for 4 days, which had been going on for about a half month. Hamas said that it would free 50 Israelis after the long-awaited agreement between Hamas and Israel.

According to BBC, 50 hostages would be free in the first initial stage, prioritizing women and children. After that war will be temporarily halted for 4 days.

Apart from the agreement, there would be another ceasefire for one more day to release another 50 hostages. Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the release of 50 Israeli hostages by Hamas and the ceasefire.
