Kathmandu District Administration permits Durga Prasai's protest in Balkhu

Kathmandu: Kathmandu District Administration has permitted the group of Durga Prasai to organize a demonstration in Balkhu.

KTM Administration, after a discussion with Prasai’s group, permitted to organize a protest in Balkhu. This has reduced the chances of a clash between the Youth Union, close to CPN(UML) and Prasai group.

Earlier, Prasai had sought permission to protest in the name of the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, and Citizen Rescue Campaign in Maitighar. The Youth Union had also requested permission in Maitighar on the same day.

Likewise, the KTM Administration showed that security challenges restricted both Prasai and the Youth Group from protesting in Maitighar. It restricted Prasai’s group and UML’s close Youth Union from protesting at Maitighar.
