Meeting between President Paudel and UN Secretary-General Guterres

Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Paudel and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres have held a meeting.

Secretary-General Guterres reached Shital Niwas on Sunday. They discussed the effect of climate change in Nepal.

He had already met Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs NP Saud, CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli, and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Guterres would visit Pokhara, Lumbini, Solukhumbu, Everest Base Camp, and Annapurna Base Camp on Monday and Tuesday. He would address the Federal Parliament on Tuesday.
