Bharati starts her hunger strike again

Kathmandu: Bharati Manadhar has started the hunger strike again.

Bharati began her strike against the amnesty given to the murderer of her husband, Yograj Dhakal ‘Regal.’ She had postponed her strike on Dashain. Bharati, along with her human activists, began the strike after guilty Regal was given amnesty on Constitution Day.

Bharati began her hunger strike on 4th October. Dhakal was convicted of murdering Chetan with a  Khudha at Nepalgunj market. Dhakal was sentenced to life imprisonment. But the government provided him amnesty on the occasion of Constitution Day.

Regel was convicted of murdering  Chetan on 13^th July 2015 A.D. (28^th Asar,2072 B.S.). The Supreme Court has already issued a  show cause order in the name of the government and President’s Office in amnesty relating to Regal.
