Koshi Province: 9 members of Shekhar Koirala not to vote for Angbo, Probability of supporting UML

Kathmandu: The ruling coalition has agreed to make CPN Maoist Indra Bahadur Angbo the Chief Minister of Koshi Province.

But, Shekhar Koirala’s group members, who won the election from the Nepali Congress, will not accept the decision.9 members of Shekhar Koirala’s group said that they would not cast their vote for Angbo for chief minister. Instead, they were talking about nominating Kedar Karki for the Chief Minister. There are chances for the alliance to support CPN (UML).

According to Koshi provincial chief Parshuram Khapung has been given time until 5:00 pm Friday to claim the post of chief minister as per Article 168(5) of the constitution.

Shekhar Koirala has been constantly communicating with CPN(UML)’s Chairperson KP Sharna Oli in recent times.
