Minister Jwala: No Budget, How to complete road maintenance?

Kathmandu: Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Prakash Jwala has shared the inadequacy of the budget for road maintenance in the upcoming festival.

Minister Jwala shared the challenges of road maintenance ahead of Dashain while addressing the meeting of the infrastructure development committee under the federal Parliament House of Representatives. He said that the maintenance of road and transportation management was not going as per planning due to lack of budget.

Likewise, Minister Jwala said that there was a hassle for proper management of the roads and traveling area ahead of Dashain. He said that he had directed the subordinate bodies to utilize the available resources and means for completing the road maintenance and transportation management before Dashain.

He pledged to complete the maintenance of ditches in roads inside Kathmandu Valley before Dashain.
