Bajhang Earthquake: Aftershocks going on, more than 6 jolts higher than 4 magnitude

Kathmandu: Bajhang has been experiencing several aftershocks.

Three aftershocks have gone after the massive strike of 6.3 Richter local magnitude (ML). About ^ earthquakes of more than 4 magnitude have gone till now. The National Seismological Centre recorded dozens of shakes with less than 4 magnitude.

According to the Centre, a 5.1 magnitude earthquake took place at 3:13 p.m. The epicenter of the earthquake was near Hemantbada.

Another quake of 4.1 magnitude was experienced at 3:45 p.m. Its epicenter was near Kadel. Similarly, a 4.1 magnitude quake jolted areas near Bhotekhola at 4:28 p.m. Another jolt of 4.3 magnitude was recorded at 4:31 p.m.

Before this, a 6.3-magnitude stroke Chainpur at 3:06 p.m. A 5.3 magnitude earthquake was also recorded at 2:40 p.m.

The locals have been suggested to stay outside due to the continuous aftershocks.
