Kathmandu: Doctors of Kathmandu Medical College KMC have continued their protest after their fellow doctor was physically assaulted during treatment.

The doctors, who started their demonstration on Sunday, fueled their protest on the hospital premises on Monday. They even restricted the patients carrying an ambulance from entering the hospital.

The demonstrating doctors halted the ambulance to enter from the main entrance of the hospital. They compelled the ambulance to use the alternative entry.

The relatives of Bhojraj Gautam, a kidney patient, had physically assaulted the doctor during the treatment. Gautam’s son and nephew had charged the Dr. Manish Khadka. Police had already arrested Rupak Gautam and Saroj Gautam.
