Gold Smuggling High-level Inquiry Committee formed

Kathmandu: A 4-member high-profile inquiry committee has been formed to investigate the gold smuggling scandal.
The cabinet meeting formed the committee in coordination with former Supreme Court Chief Justice Dilli Ram Acharya.
According to government spokesperson Rekha Thapa, Kishor Jung Karki from the Ministry of Finance, Prem Raj Joshi of Home Minister, and former AIG Sahakul Thapa are the other members of the committee.
The UML had obstructed the House following the confiscation of the gold, demanding the formation of a high-level body to deal with the gold scam.
