Chitwan: Two pilgrims have gone missing at Devghat.
Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Municipality had sent those pilgrims as volunteers for elderly people for the Muktinath pilgrimage. But both the pilgrims disappeared while swimming at the Devghat pilgrimage.
According to DSP Bijaya Raj Pandit, District Police Office Chitwan, Laxmi Narayan Temple had recruited Bhoj Raj Adhikari (19 years old) from Assam, India, and Pankaj Dahal (17 years) from Dhangadi Milan Chowk as volunteers for Muktinath pilgrimage.
Spokesperson Pandit said security personnel had been mobilized for searching missing Dahal and Adhikari.
Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Municipality sent a total of 190 elderly pilgrims for the Muktinath Trip on Sunday. Laxmi Narayan Temple had coordinated the pilgrimage.
