Kathmandu: This season’s first expedition of Mt. Manaslu has been completed.

A team of five mountaineers including a Pakistani couple and three Nepali citizens completed the expedition. According to Seven Summit, Ahmed Uzair, Anum Uzair, and three Sherpas completed the expedition this morning.

The autumn season started on last Sunday. The season is found to be appropriate for the expedition of Manaslu. Department of Tourism reported 301 registrations, for climbing Mt. Manaslu, out of 395 for mountain expeditions in Nepal.

The government has collected a total of 3 crore 40 lakh rupees in the form of royalty from the Mt. Manaslu expedition alone. Mt. Manaslu is the eighth-highest mountain in the world. It is the seventh-highest peak of Nepal.
