RSP dissatisfied with teachers’ demonstration, requests not to close the school

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has expressed dissatisfaction over the demonstration of teachers.

RSP Spokesperson Mukul Dhakal issued a press statement to express dissatisfaction regarding the demonstration of teachers.

RSP has mentioned being in favor of the professional development of teachers and asked not to violate the rights of the students to access education. He said that the bill could be amended after a discussion in parliament.

‘We were/are clear about uplifting the quality of all the community schools, the lifestyle of the teachers, and the surety of a bright future for students in Nepal. The priority of RSP is the future of students,’ he said, ‘The country would move towards darkness if unable to uplift the quality of education. We believe that education must be practical, ethical, employment oriented, and eligible to compete on the global stage.’

RSP mentioned that the government had not done proper behavior with the teachers. RSP had been advocating in favor of teachers before the election. Teachers have been demonstrating on streets against the school education bill since Wednesday.
