Oli: No need to amend the constitution now, must be amended at once later

Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said that there was no need to amend the constitution.

Chairperson Oli addressed the interaction program organized in memory of late leader Subash Nembang under the title ‘Subash and Constitution.’

He said that the implementation was more important rather than the amendment. Oli said that the constitution was already amended two times earlier and it needs to be amended at once rather than in fragments.

Oli said, ‘We must not only focus on the immediate subject matter but have a deep discussion regarding the required changes while amending the constitution.’

Similarly, Oli praised the role of the late leader Nembang in making the constitution. He said that the political, and legal personality of Nembang was unblemished.
