Kathmandu: The server of the immigration department has come into operation at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
The server came into operation after more than 3 hours of stoppage. This has smoothened the mobility of passengers in the airport.
Hundreds of passengers’ flights were delayed after the server went down at the immigration office of (TIA). The act of granting entry and exit was stopped for more than 3 hours. The services were stopped as all the systems of immigration were computerized. This delayed the flights and created problems for passengers.
According to the airport office, a minimum of 3 flights, carrying hundreds of passengers, were delayed. The server went down at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The immigration staff were writing to give visa-related services.
